018 wordsmith Ginger Trill is back with a new freestyle. A couple of months since his last offering with Touchline (Boyzen Da Hood), Trill speaks more on the current political affairs in South Africa. Not for nothing, he remains consistent with his flair and witty punchlines, something that we all love about Trill.

In the freestyle, Trill addresses the challenges of residing in a deteriorating economy in South Africa. An excerpt in the song features a well-known interview by Desmond Tutu cautioning South Africans about the misrepresentation by the ruling government.

“Sign of the times ke di nako

Eye for an eye kwala matlho

Modimo o re itshwarele melato

Bana ba go ba shwile le latswalo”

Trill reflects on how individuals adopt a "Get it how you live" attitude towards life in these lines. His confident tone suggests that he personally relates to the experiences he raps about.

While he’s gearing up for his live show, GINGER TRILL LIVE: A SMALL ROOM CONCERT, this new freestyle can be found on Youtube as an exclusive release
